Felonies are divided into 3 classes:


Class A Felony

Carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $50,000 fine.

Class B Felony

Carries a maximum sentence of ten years in prison and a $25,000 fine.

Class C Felony

Carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
